A highly trained K-12 educator and an experienced college professor, we have between us 25 years+ experience in the field of Education. We combine our academic background with our work as creatives with training in art, film, and literature. With this combination we specialize in promoting innovation and propelling individuals and institutions to new ways of thinking about themselves and the people they serve.

A writer, scholar, poet, and visual artist, Monique Callahan Damian has 5+ years experience teaching in K-12 schools and 12+ years teaching and in various leadership roles in higher education. A Harvard-trained scholar and writer, Monique has authored three books and publishes essays on poetry and culture as well as on creative writing in the classroom. You can find her visual art on her book covers as well as in literary journals and magazines.
Monique has received awards for her teaching and has facilitated workshops and instructional sessions on writing in the classroom, teaching and learning, and engaging student leadership in the college classroom. She has developed secondary and college-level curriculum. Over the years, she has worked with families to support high school and college students to provide tutoring and academic planning.

Eugene Damian is a seasoned educator with 13+ years of experience in the Boston Public Schools system, holding ESL and Language Arts licenses. A bachelor’s in Art combined with a master’s in Education has helped him to develop a skillset geared towards student success and creative innovation. Eugene specializes in working with inclusion students and has developed curriculum in both the International Baccalaureate and Common Core frameworks. He is skilled in Project-Based Learning strategies that foster critical thinking and collaboration skills through interest and inquiry-based projects.
A strong advocate for the growth mindset philosophy, Eugene is known in his employment communities as someone who helps students embrace challenges and develop resilience. Now offering consulting services, he looks forward to helping to curricula and culture that both fits a school’s core philosophy and reflects the people in it.
